The 10th Collectors’ Plant Fair was a great success:

Visitors and exhibitors told us that the 10th Fair was the best yet, with over 4,000 keen gardeners attending.

Thanks go to the 54 fabulous specialist nurseries and 6 garden related products stands, to the buyers who all left with bags and bags of plants, our generous sponsors – the Australian Institute of Horticulture, Tytags, and Nova Employment – supporters – Botanica, Garden Clubs of Australia and The Garden Clinic - our willing volunteers and the members of the Mt Tomah RFS who ran the plant holding area.

Our three speakers Michael McCoy, Sally Johannsohn and Phillip Johnson were well attended and inspiring. Robin from Gordon wrote: “The talk by Phillip Johnson was absolutely the best I have ever heard – so inspiring. Hopefully he will be the future of sustainable Australian garden design.” We also thank the moderators of the speaker sessions, Fiona Ogilvie, Robin Powell, Keran Barrett and Sandra Ross

The nursery displays were judged on Saturday with the popular and deserving winner being the Secret Garden Nursery from Richmond, NSW. The People’s Choice went to Antique Perennials from Victoria. Congratulations to the deserving winners.

We look forward to seeing you all again in April 2016 for the 11th Collectors’ Plant Fair.
